Wozny is a 2018 artist in residence at the RecRoom and writes for various Houston publications and live performance events. In addition to improvised music concerts under his name on guitar, he plays regularly with Spencer Dobbs and Merel & Tony. He has a tape forthcoming with Gabe Martinez and Justin Jones on Anahuac Editions in August, and his debut song album is forthcoming whenever the dude who is mixing it can finish mixing it. His new podcast where he reviews intersections is now out on the Mocking Bird Network.

Created in 2011 as a parody of contemporary politics and politicians, the piece focuses on issues of immigration and national identity. Expect a violin, metallophone, zither, cardboard boxes, political buttons, and shiny shoes.

3rd: Closing out the evening in a sonic blur of speed metal love is the free improvisation duo of Rebecca Novak (autoharp, cornet and objects) + Rachel Jane Hulsey (percussion)
